I think the theme is pretty nice. Simple, and gets the job done. Just keep adding good content, and you should be all ready to go.

I like how it is very clean and easy to read. Not hard to navigate at all. Fits industry standards.

Decent point, but I'm not really aiming for big direct traffic. I also own andrewgjohnson.com which is coded to direct to andrew-g-johnson.com. It is more of a personal tool for potential employers. I've actually considered buying another domain that's shorter just for the sake of blog traffic but eventually decided against it.

I like the site, really do :)

Couple suggestions (things I would do if mine) - seems like the site is geared towards finding you some coding work -- I would focus on that more -- give some real examples of what I could do (some free tools, widgets, some viral apps). I would lose the google ads at the top, you aren't selling google ads for a few pennies, you are selling yourself for substantially more -- don't make it look like you are desperate for a cpl bucks from google to stay alive :)

I would consider using a diff pic?? Been doing coding for a decade, yet you only look 17 in the picture :) -- not a bad thing, but doesn't instill a lot of confidence in me. Find/get a picture showing a more serious side of you.

You have made it easy to get your resume, but I think I would like to see a brief excerp of what's inside. Maybe include a bio box on this page, make me want to download and read the resume.

Overall, very nice looking site - props on the hard work.

I was actually playing with the idea of dropping the top ad, and your post made me decide to do it.

    Hi

simple header that explains what you do

i would put some tabs at the top of your site to go to pages

I would put some of the software products you designed on homepage and make about another page

    portfolio tab showcasing your projects

    pricing tab

    ad some widgets like comments

    social bookmarking widgets,

    seo pack widget

Did you even look at my site?

software & web developer at the top of every page?

navigation? like the navigation I currently have?

I only got around to posting 2, but I already have this...

Comments are available on the blog, I don't know why I could want comments elsewhere

Bottom of every page, top of blog post pages

    What?
