Who is the king of seo at DP?

I am a newbie, but I see soooo many people claiming crazy things. If you had to vote for someone (besides yourself, that seems like cheating) as the king of seo at DP, who would you say?

Don't know if he's "the king" but sweetfunny is one of those that have more to say than just - "YOU NEED MORE LINKS"

 

Well i would refer the person in DP as king which have around 12k posts and haven't received a single infraction from Dp " HE WILL BE REGARDED AS THE TRUE SURVIVOR"

Ok, but is there anyone here who can take a site to pr6, pr7 or even higher with tough keywords? anyone who can say ¨yes, i dont care how much you flame me, i know i am amazing...live with it?¨. I would like to seperate the pretenders from the real players.

 

Thanks, there's also Rand (owner of SEOmoz.org) who's a member here as well as Shoemoney and while he may not be a great SEO he's a brilliant internet marketer which is a great skill to have. Matt Cutts is a member, same again while he's not a SEO he knows more about the algo than anyone.

SEOIbiza is also moving up in to the top #20 for "SEO" with me, so he's doing pretty good also.

Pagerank doesn't have much to do with anything sorry, i've got a PR7 that only has 3 backlinks with Pagerank and sites like SEOmoz have 2 million backlinks only with a PR6. Also i just took a new domain and in 23 days it had a PR6, and about 40 PR5 subpages all organic with zero paid links.

Pagerank just doesn't mean a whole lot, but it's a good way to separate the pretenders. Pretenders talk about Pagerank, while the real SEO's talk about things like analytics, conversions and ROI.

 

There are lot of people with very good knowledge of SEO, hangs out on Dp though to be honest, i can see the number coming down continuously. I think DP has gone way too big!

I often see Ahmed (sultanofseo) coming up with good replies. Dan shulz is another guy though i see he is not coming online nowdays. I will highly advice newbies to read Dan Schulz's posts about SEO, usability etc made on digitalpoint

I don't think somebody here could have the guts to claim that he is the DP Seo king. He would have a lot to prove.

 

The true experts in SEO do not promise a bunch of BS and than deliver excuses. There are way too many of those here at DP.

The best way to do SEO is by trial and error and learning for yourself. You can purchase small packages of link building to help but most super SEO packages are scams and by time people figure it out, they have lost a lot of money.

Read all you can and follow what other successful webmasters are doing. I have been doing this quite a while and everyday I seem to learn something new. I love making mistakes because it teaches me something to make me more successful.

Number one key to buying a SEO service or anything else is "if it is too good to be true, it is a scam!" If everyone could make the top spot in the Search Engines where would the rest go?

 

I have consistently enjoyed the SEO posts of sweetfunny, ssandecki, and Dan Schultz.

 

Dont understand how that makes them a king of SEO, you can make all 12,000 posts in all the forums apart from SEO.
