Article Marketing - LINK Question?? When you submit an article to an article directory, can you only get credit for one backlink? Or can you submit a few times with differn't link variations and get credit for more than one backlink? Also, can you submit the same article to differn't directories?
Here's an article on duplicate content that should help answer this question. http://driveconvertmonetize.blogspot.com/2008/10/i-want-to-submit-articles-to-increase.html Here's another article on article submission that should also help you. http://driveconvertmonetize.blogspot.com/2008/10/should-i-submit-my-articles-to-one.html
I think the experts are split down the middle on this one. Some subscribe to the 80/20 theory and only submit unique articles to Ezinearticles. While others submit articles to every directory out there. I believe if it is your intention to get traffic "directly" from your articles then the first approach works better. However if your goal is to build backlinks, thus improving pagerank, thus improving your position in SERPs, thus eventually getting more organic traffic then the second approach works better. Personally I think if your goal is to improve the search engine ranking of your site itself then you'd want to go with option #2.
You can usually display upto 3 back links per authors box. I believe ezinearticles and the major ones let you use upto 3. However each article site usually has their own guidelines to follow. For seo purposes I would recommend using up to the max of 3 back links per article. And you should Deep Link back to your site.
