hi guys, When google assesses your page rank does it take links in other search engines in to account or only the links that are in google.

    For example.

In google I have 10 backlinks only.

But... In Yahoo show I have 1300 backlinks - would google take these links in to consideration?

so what process google increase website backlink.

Yes Google will take into account all sites that point back to your site. Google does not show all of the sites that link to you in their index. The only time links will not count towards your PR is if that link pointing to your site is nofollow. In that case the link juice is not passed onto your site. Concern yourself with more with one way back links and killer content. The hell with PR, it is useless to where your site ranks in the SERP's.

google doesn't care how many links other search engines show or your site. yor site will be ranked based on how many backlinks google itself can find and count (not all the links found will be counted or shown)

True. Google has a different set of quality parameters for back links. So regardless of whether you have thousands of link, Google will only show and consider the links that adhere to its quality parameter.

That is the main reason why quality of links is important and not the quantity of links. No since we are discussing Page Rank, I would also like to add that the Page Rank that is displayed on the Tool Bar (TBPR) is not the same as that is stored in its data centers. TBPR is only updated periodically while the data center PR is updated more frequent. The PR from these data center feed into the search algo.

Google will give your site rank as per its backlinks shown on the search engine.
