I'm new to proxy and need help clearing my doubt. Are those proxy site (used to unblock certain website) require proxy hosting? or any shared hosting plans are usable? Thanks
Based on what I have experienced proxy sites are used when a certain site is not working or in parking status in different browsers, or you want to hide your ip address from the other users.

Just out of curiosity why would you want ot build a gateway site? Theres alot of competition out there already and if you want it for your own personal use why not just use on that is freely avaiable on the net?
shared hosting will not allow to use for proxies if you are siging up to large bandwidth be sure to ask abt proxy
