I love blogging and here is a list of my top wordpress plugins..

What are yours and why ?

 

I don't use many but akismet and democracy (poll) are my top ones.

 

I use most of the plugins mentioned in your article except 1-2 plugins.

You should try atleast all of those 10.

 

No 1 would be tinymce advanced.

Good plugin for blogs regarding folllow and no follow links.

And of course WP database backup.

On my blog, all I have are the DB backup, and Askimet.

You have some decent suggestions, but they have been suggested countless times by number of blog already. You should try some under rated ones and announce them.

 

So far in resisted the urge to go barmy with plugins for fear of them being discontinued but some of my top ones that i like and use are.

Id like to ask while in this thread, what cache plugin would any of you recommend? ive yet to use one.

didn´t seen mentioned here some of great plugins, so here they are:

next-gen gallery
ozh-admin-drop-down-menu (I really like this one - helps incredibly in admin section)
wordpress-automatic-upgrade (automatically upgrades your wp version - all of my blogs are up-to-date since I use it)

 

1. Akismet - Protect against SPAM comments
2. Contact Script 7

Those are two great ones, especially the first.
