SEO URL Question...

As far as URLS and SEO Is:
http://dogfoodchat.com/acana/

better

http://dogfoodchat.com/acana-dog-food/

Right now my blog post are set up as: http://dogfoodchat.com/acana-dog-food but I started to think that since dog-food was already in the main part of my URL, it might hurt me to add it again.

If it is better would be it be benefical for me to redo all the links?

It doesn't hurt to have the keyword in the URL more than once. If the keyword you are targetting is "acana-dog-food" then you're better off the way it is.

 

I think it's fine to have acana dog food again if you get direct traffic to internal pages.

 

If you want acana dog food as your target search result then the second option is definitely better.

 

The second scenario is better. But don't do in again in the next subdirectory then it will hurt.
