By the way, are you planning to sell an ebook telling people how to make $xxxxx with youtube? I would like to tell you that there are already a lot of such ebooks available like the one by "Scar" here (if i am not wrong)

If you can, please post links to the softwares (better is free) used in the video uploading, watermarking, cutting, editing, format conversion, etc. Like which is the best flv to mpg or avi converter you use? Thanks for your help.

 

Planning to sell an ebook? I think I can better continue with what I am doing which is lots of work with affiliate marketing. I just started with a few videos and have lots to do since I want to make more and more money though. Believe me, this way of making money is addicted since the hard work is paying off and that's the adrenaline I get, damn I'm energized. And above that, why should I "reveal" in an ebook how I make money? If I "reveal" my strategy then lots of other people will copy my concept, right? Which means more competition for me. I am not going to make it harder for myself lol. I would rather think of providing a service for newbies here to help them in the right direction with a good consult instead of "revealing" my strategy.

Which software I use for video uploading? Just Youtube, why this kind of question lol. I don't use all that kind of software, the only thing you should do is think think think and again, think outside the box. There are many people around here in DP that can create good quality videos for relative little money. I cannot edit videos myself, I am not a professional with that. I prefer to focus on my field which is marketing; Research research and research, trial trial and errors errors..

As far as software, Windows Movie Maker (built in to most versions of windows) is all that you really need to create watermarked videos. For Mac users, iMovie can also do the job.

Affillate marketing is a way to make money but it helps if you have a way to bring in income other ways until you start making money. I do ehow articles for residue income and do affillate marketing for clickbank and linkshare.

 

how you guys make your videos popular and receive millions of views? Mind sharing your methods guys?

 

Thanks for the thread since I am not newbie to IM but Newbie to Youtube.

1) Are you ripping videos then reloading up or creating videos custom yourself (using camera) or are these how to type videos, please elaborate.

2) Are you doing keyword research prior to creating videos? you mentioned a niche therefore are you estimating that the keyword searches are xxxx number prior to promoting.

3) Are you ranking well in Searching Engine or are you ranking well in Youtube for keywords?

4) Are affiliate links in the video or just in the descriptions?

 

People buy the youtube views for their videos. The youtube views are achieved by some kind of bots. The bot traffic doesnt help the webmaster but its helps make youtube think that your video is a nice one so it shows more often in search results or "related videos". This helps webmasters achieve real traffic.

And most people would post a link in first line of description. Then you can redirect that link to any affiliate url or you can have product reviews or something like that over there.

Bot traffic isnt a must for getting high number of youtube views. Youtube has a nice algorithm by which the best videos get on top automatically.

 

Achieving lots of hits with bot traffic does not make your video more popular. It depends on how popular your video currently is, and I'm talking about the niche.

I do not use any bot traffic, just use my mind for a good research since I don't like to waste my time on something that does not work. And if it does not work, I proceed to the next project/niche.

So in my opinion I don't like to manipulate a video in Youtube. And there is a chance that your video still won't get popular after you've spent lots of money, although sometimes it could be useful it depends on the competition of your videos and you need to know what you exactly need to outrank the competition in the youtube search results. Of course Google/Youtube staff are the only people that knows the algorithm (just like the regular google SE algorithm) but I know from experience a bit what I need for my video to outrank the others, so yeah sometimes I will manipulate it a bit, just when necessary. But sending so much bot traffic to your youtube video and hoping your Youtube video get honored does not make sense. If your niche is not popular then you will lose the honors as fast as you obtained them.

Adsense isnt bullshit. i believe in the idiotsthinkadsenseisbullshit school of thought. Even youtube runs on adsense. The best sites run on adsense. It is adsense in particular and ppc in general which has mostly made the internet free for us.
Adsense is for everyone - big or small. Its doesnt fail overnight. Its not bullshit.
