PR4 site backlink - is it worth it?

    Can anyone tell me in their opinion and experience if I got a backlink from a site with PR4 with 24 others sites for backlinks, would it be worth it?

    I hear the higher number of backlinks dilutes the PR passed on?:(

    Yes it does dilute, but there are so many other factors involved. Does it have any internal pages with PR? What are the other external links on the page? How old is the Domain? $50 is not bad if it comes from a trusted aged domain with good backlinks themself even split by 24.

    I think $50 is worth your money as long as the site where your link is placed is topically relevant to yours.

    Here's a link price calculator that might give you some guidance on what a link is worth. It takes PR and Alexa traffic rating into account.

    If it's a related site and its already sellin a lot of text links, and is obvious, I wouldn't do that myself or advise my clients on that.

    As long as it is worth it to you, then yes, don't worry about calculations. If it is a popular site or a site that is well known in your niche, then ignore PR, etc.
