If you have a website, then how do u get webtraffic.?Then which method is best effective to increase the webtraffic as there is both onpage and offpage in seo.

BEST traffic (that results in revenue) is adwords traffic (only for search) if you choose your keywords correctly. Next best is organic traffic and work on your site's SEO for that.

It looks like Google values off-page SEO much more but I won't ignore on-page either.

Do some research on your keywords. It takes time to familiarise with keywords and all. Do SEO practices. Submit articles to Social Media sites like Digg.com.

Getting traffic is a master mind concept.... All have different ideologies and techniques.. For a general way.... participate in social bookmarking sites, Dir Submissions, article submission, press release etc.... I guess that will get you some traffic if you write some unique and visitor relevant content.

If you want to boost organic traffic, research for keywords that have high volume searches. Build links and use it as your anchor text. On-page and off-page plays an important role in gaining top positions in search results.

Try building link by commenting on other blogs and forums.Submit your site to Google..Because google traffic really helps.

first is you must know your target traffic... then do keyword research to help and aid you in getting traffic... then do some SEM, submit on social networks and bookmark because you get get some nice hefty amount of traffic from them...

 

Great advice, can you give me a bit more info on social networks, are you talking about forums or places like Myspace, twitter etc?

Think SEO, if you can master that you will go far. I can see myself from a year ago where I was a completely newbie with SEO but now I have developed my skills and I can really work on my sites with an advantage. Use techniques such as:

When posting on related forums, if you post an image, or something like that upload it to your server. Using forums to make your forum publicly known is the best way, I always do it! You can do it intentionally, using your logic.

 

optimize the page first with the keyword and Good unique content that related to the keyword, and then the last thing is link building.
