The Eee PC 1000H is the best one currently. It's a netbook though, which is just a mini notebook. the specs are quite good.
Thanks guys. @mahendra_rajeshirke Thanks but thats big. Thanks MobileFun4U, That was the one I was searching for but couldn't fine. Wow I didn't know it was that expensive.
guys; http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...mp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B001FWXCFM or http://www.amazon.com/Display-Intel-Mobile-Solid-State/dp/B001BYB60W/ref=pd_sim_pc_4 Is it possible to buy the linux version, and somehow install windows onto it?
I'd prefer the Lenovo S10 with 10 inch because it has the feature heat reducing system where it doesn't heat up much in the keyboard area which all laptops usually do and makes it uncomfortable to use plus its power is enough, but if you like the 8.9 inch HP mini note is great.
well i hv just baught dell inspiron but if you wanna have thinner one.. you should go for sony vaio for sure
Whats the main purpose of your laptop? Are you sure that it's going to meet your requirements? Nothing worse than buying a machine with the intention of using for one thing then find your trying to use it for something else and it doesn't perform.
Eee PC 1000 is not so compact as Eee PC 900 or 700. So if you want realy small netbook I'd suggest Asus Eee PC 900 (700 is too weak: small display and just 4 gigas of space).
Thanks guys. I'm going to go for the 900, because it is compact. I don't really know the main purpose; but it's much faster than my current computer (which is strange indeed).
Netbook are mostly use for surfing internet and doing a presentation. If you want to use Office applications or graphics design, the small screen will tiring your eyes. Better know the reason why you need that netbook before purchasing it.
You can try MSWind or the new HP Mini note...the HP Mini note 1000 costs around $300 I am also looking for small notebooks as well to go handy when I travel and those two were my options
I bought the OQO at $1200. It was a waste of money. I never used it; and the screen was too small, I couldn't use it on a daily basis. I later sold it off at $650 on craigslist. I have to get this laptop only because my business partner is forcing me. Strange situation I'm in. As I don't really want a new laptop but he thinks it will improve my productivity. I am not doing any intensive graphic designs. Will doing ftp, checking on my sites, be okay?
Take a look at http://www.yournetbookreviews.com for some user reviews of netbooks which have those sort of screen sizes
