What is Black hat Seo?

i am newer for seo, and hear someone tell about "BLACK HAT" and"WHITE HAT"
Does anyone tell me what are they mean?

 

White hat: accepted methods of search engine optimization (not shady)

Black hat: finding loop holes in search engine algorithms and exploiting them

You can follow search engine rules that is white hat, you are not follow then it is black hat.

 

Black hat SEO is the process of optimizing the website against to search engine rules/criteria, often it's called "UNETHICAL WAY"

 

But why SEO still using black hat technique till now is there anything Google can prevent those such technique.

 

In simple terms:

WHITE HAT = good
BLACK HAT = bad

You decide which way to go.

 

I think we need both to succeed

 

BLACK HAT: Comes in against of google guidelines.
WHITE HAT: Comes in according to google guidelines.

 

I prefer saying the SEO skills as
Fake SEO vs Real SEO instead of using "Black" or "White".

I do not like the idea of using "Black" to present the "Bad" meaning.
