    Even YOU will benefit :D

Worried about higher taxes you say?
This only applies to the ones making over $250k *NET*, (that's profit after expenses to the slower kids in the back row)...

Still worried about taxes? Refer to the Clinton years, similar situation. He raised taxes yes, but the dollar was stronger. A weak dollar is something most republicans don't acknowledge, when in fact it is worse than taxes. You lose money without any benefit to anybody.

Just from the positive energy alone we should start to see improvement in the economy. People's spirits are up, goals are higher, for the first time after 8 years they see hope.

So grumble all you want, you will benefit just like the rest of us.

    "Smiles everyone, smiles" :p

saying because we had a stronger dollar during the clinton years does not mean the democrats = strong dollar. if Obama balances the budget, it may strengthen - but he would have to downsize the scope of government dramatically. spending is what kills the dollar.

There seems to be a major deficit in positive thinking in this world.

Actually Joe Biden mentioned that the limit to raise taxes will fall down to $150,000.

No one has explained how taking money from the people who hire and are the most productive with money and giving it to the least productive people in society will actually benefit the economy.

A weak dollar is what kept us out of a recession until now, the dollar has strengthened recently which will lead to a drop off in exports, exports were one sector of the economy that was positive even if it was based on the weak dollar. A strong dollar makes American goods uncompetitive when compared with goods made in another country.

Can't help you in considering the middle class the least productive in society, but as those people buy goods and services, their health is key, and supply side thinking hasn't provided the boon it was touted to be. In fact, quite the opposite, as historical analysis shows.
