Someone is stilling my bandwidth ... how to check?

    How to check that noone is stilling my bandwidth. I don't hve much traffic but my bandwidth limit has been ended.

    Check your awStats to see what files are sucking up the bandwidth. Chances are you posted an image that somebody hotlinked, just delete the image.

    How can you say that someone is stealing your bandwidth?

    You might have some big images/video/downloads that are taking up the most b/w?

    You sure about that Jalpari?

    Open your awStats and scroll down about 2/3 of the way until you come to this report:

    [​IMG]

    That will tell you exactly what is sucking up your bandwidth. Once you've narrowed down the filetype, you can find the exact file.

    It is difficult to keep track of the bandwidth theft if you don't have hotlink protection enabled. Otherwise you will need to check your reports all the time to see the source of the problem.

    My webhost only supports webalizer, what to see in webalizer.

    YES i have VIDEOS but they are only 5-6 video files, and not many ppl are watching those videos.

    This thread is started by me and i am still looking answer what to do, now i have deleted video pages but some hosts are giving only 7 visits but many hits around 40k.

    How to see that this host/ip is eating bandwidth.

    You said you've got webalizer, open your webalizer stats it has a report similar to above that I posted. It's called "Top URLs" or something like that. Find out exactly which files are sucking up your bandwidth.
