    I would like to think that the large youth turnout might have been in part due to the buzz Ron Paul had. A lot of first time voters out there this time and a lot of young people voting. I might be giving his campaign too much credit though and of course I have no stats to back up my opinion.

    the republican party has strayed from it's principles, and the people show they don't want spineless crooks to represent them anymore. GOP rivals showed early in the debates their opposition to Paul's philosophy so they lost for straying away.
