I really liked the feature of users able to select color (joomla provides that) and widgets.. which CMS provides the features like that?
i made a news site for someone quite time ago in joomla ,joomla can be used for it www.nepalaawaz.com
Yeah, I think it was the beginning of 07 they updated the site or something to the newest version and the Drupal favicon was on the site. I think that's how it was made public As you know it's tough to tell what some of the larger sites are using for a CMS, but it's listed with the other biggies like MTV, Nike, Moby, Pink etc.
BBC uk and wales are both Drupal and was designed by the same team now currently doing the new drupal site
yeah they Use drupal, but it can be either done with custom made CMS or even Joomla could do it. But i wanna see if wordpress could go beyond or not.
Actually, the BBC uses a custom CMS developed by a team working for the BBC in the UK. It might look like drupal but I know for a fact it's a custom one.
I think you're right, I wasn't sure either about the BBC UK site but I assumed CommonDavid was right.. One thing is fore sure though, BBC wales is fully Drupal powered.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/ created by mark boulton http://www.markboulton.co.uk/journal/comments/new_bbc_wales_homepage/
I strongly doubt that BBC uses a widely public distributed CMS. Why? Public exploits can be released that could affect their system, and "noobs" could potentially deface the site. Just my 2c
