It is too early to think or judge Mr. Obama.

He is relatively new to the rest of the world and Indians are hoping for continuation of good Indo-US ties or better still, Democrats have always had a soft corner for India....and so, here's hoping that he would continue the tradition.

    Regards,

Far too early to judge him as president but, not too early to judge him on what we have seen/heard already - the man has had his entire life spewed out in the media for a looong time :p.

I think he has a lot to live up to, I think the hype about him could cause him some problems, if he isn't able to work miracles I fear he wont be very popular as a president. He seems to know what he's doing though.....

A good speaker may not necessarily be a good leader , you need to wait upto mid next year to find it out.

Many democrats are vocal against outsourcing. That would not be a good thing for you.

Yes, you are right. Many (including Mr. Obama) are against Outsourcing. But it's not easy to stop outsourcing to a country like India. One can speak anything from out. But can't do everything when sitting in a responsible seat.

We have to wait and see how he does his job. Too early to say anything now. But at least we have new president that we are all fine with. Now, just have to wait his work. BTW, he knows his pressure on this job.:)

It's never to early... he's a pathetic loser. This feels kinda good... I haven't been able to do these types of things for the last 8 years. ;)

Happily afraid. Happy because america shows equal opportunity. Fearful because it is the 1st time america has a black president.

Do you do work for MS cause I didn't understand what you wrote. Could you rephrase the last part in American English. Thanks.

Are you really scared of a person because of his skin color???

Get your facts straight. He is biracial.
You can call him the first African-American president or the first non-white American president if you want to be technically correct.

I know some people would think it erroneous to call him African-American, but it fits him because his dad is African and mom is American.

    Martin is waiting.

    Regardless, he is still black...

Great news for America, I'm glad it happened sooner rather than later.

The fact that an African American, which holds severe differences from most previous presidents is president, even though I am in Canada, it makes me believe there is a chance for non-prejudice decisions to be made in relation to the government.

It makes me believe that even the Italian gangster, high paid hooker that is addicted to cocaine, and 30 year old virgin nerd have a chance of making a difference across their country or the whole world for that matter. I don't mean to be offensive by this post at all, but it does open our eyes that at least USA is more accepting now to a change. Basically, I don't mean to have a crack head or serial killer to run a nation, but that the population generally does not judge someone by their looks, lifestyle (while it could be important), or the way they carry themselves.

I wish Canada would have been more loving to Jean Cretien, but now we are stuck with Stephen Harper, it's time for a change, and I hope Tom Green runs for president soon...there is always hope that a mentally, physically and sexually curious sole can run a whole country - Just picture how much more beautiful Canada would be.

You mean, you didn't understand this?
What I meant is, It is easy to plan anything when a person is not in a respectable post like President. But when he becomes President, he'll understand how much obstacles are there in executing everything he planned.

Technicalities. The media craps on about technicalities and conveniently ignores the same when those get in the way.

no it is a radical change for america for the first time so obviously it has not passed the test of time. I am not pushing blame because of skin colour. I just don't want anything to happen to my adsense earnings so I am quite cautious of it.

You know, maybe it would have been better if Bush could have stayed somehow, I mean the $700 000 000 000 bailout (WOW that looks big) only happened on his way out, well I guess worse happened slightly after he was in, but he maintained the economy okay.

    ...at least for Canada :p

Give him some times and let him proof himself to all US citizens that it's a wise choice to choose him as the new US President...

I am not here to bash people, I am not one to visit this section frequently. Just here for the victory party as a Montreal Canadiens fan would because it's their hometown, even though they don't even know how to skate or who Bobby Orr is.

I am simply using the time line, not any actions of any party.

If your going to attack me personally, I suggest you become a little more sophisticated, use correct spelling, and don't use MSN slang.

    Nothing personal to you sir.
