Absolute url in link or relative? who win?

    hi all folks!

    i have a question

    writing url in the web site i know there are 2 way

    ../page.html
    http://www.domain.ext/page.html

    which is the better way for a link in a web site?

    if i write link in the first way i get penalized in seo?

    give me your feedback please

    when it gets spidered it gets converted along the way, so it doesnt matter

    are you sure?

    because i have also a problem with gsitecrawler that help to create sitemaps but happens that it does not read some url and i dont why
    could depend coz the url are written as ../page.html??

    There is no difference between Relative URLs and absolute URLs but I prefer using the absolute URLs in articles so that I get a baclink if someone copies it.

    yea i'm sure. just take the logical approach - write full paths when required and relative paths when not required (i.e off site and on site respectively).
