How to promote Conest at my Directory Forum

I am having contest at my forum.

I posted on my blog and DP contest section but I still need to promote it more so I can get more people to join.

Any idea what should I do ?

 

Have you tried PPC Marketing and Social Marketing, posting at other forums?

Nice idea to promote contest. Will try Google Adwords. I have $30 left if my account.

I hate to be negative, but...

This forum isn't really about anything. Unless I'm wrong and there are hundreds of people who have a huge interest in directories. But I don't think I am. Maybe you'll get a few people here and there who want to complain about directories, or who want to promote their own directories. But there's just not enough interest to actually start conversations.

Marketing starts in production. You have to look at what people want and provide THAT. If not...you're whistling in the wind.

 

I love directories.

These days I am busy in Marketing. From next month I will make mods, Templates for directories.

And there are lot of people who are interested in directories.

 

Can you please explain it ?
