What is your opinion about indian culture, here people love to stay within joint family. They show their respect to the elders. and also to the strangers. I write about many more things from Indian tradition and culture in my blog. Here I show you a topic from my blog. Atithi Devo Bhava that means Guest is God. Every Indian things so and they respect and treat guest (Atithi) who comes not only to their home but to their country, i.e, INDIA like god. Playing the perfect host is an integral part of the Indian culture and tradition. As such, Indian people go to great lengths to make their guests feel welcome. Garlanding, aarti and applying tilak, or a red vermillion mark, on the forehead of the guest is, thus, an important part of the reception ritual. There are basically two reasons behind the garlanding tradition of India. Firstly, it showcases one's happiness at receiving the particular guest and secondly, it is a form of publicly acknowledging the guest's importance.
People spamming their blogs are not welcomed here. Foreigners come to India and end up either being murdered or raped

Really nice reply to Im The ONE . I appreciate it. That guy may be from India only. They stay there and defame the country itself. There are cases of murders and rapes, but that does not represent the country as a whole. Listed to be one of the most prosperous and developing countries of the World.
Indian culture is totally diffirent from all other countries. It is rich & nice. It shows that is why in todys fast changeing world our society stii remains a role model for all world.
india is rising but some people dominating that they are great because they r on the top seat, it doesn’t mean everybody should follow their rules blindly, u can see lots of criminals in ministers and they dooming country by their politics and politics is a great source to put India up , we not only need of a good prime minister but also good human too.

But after knowing about those criminal political leader, why they won because you and we both are voting them. At first we have to stop voting them, then we have to fight against them by legally. We the young generation must need to come strongly in politics with a mind set up that know one can stop me to do people best. We need to know detailly about the leaders and the parties, then choose the right person. The gen next select to be an engineer, doctor, pilot, businessman, serviceman and other frontline carrer option, but they are not interested in politics. They take him away from polictics, but not give up to see it from remote, and raise the finger that he is not good, she is not good, remove him, remove her. But who will come ? Again a same like previous was. Why not you? It is also true some people is really not have a good idea about politics and don't know what he do in it. Then they choose a carrer that fits them. But those people who have a leadership quality, have a good hand in managing, also well educated, they should come in front. They and we really are needed to our country, to be the best not better.
the kind of culture like india is very delicate culture and sensitive, it has religious strengths each person is staunch(fundamentalist) abt his/ her culture and dignity, and they get angry quickly if anybody blame to their rules and break thier rules either, being in globalization , how many people choose global culture and how many choose indian , there are difference in between that, that cause indian fighting each other, i mean they dont know where they want to go and wht is really better, according to me going with unity is better way , by this way we have to getting all of us consensus and working our it.
I agree...!!! Colonialists ruined Indian culture and wealth. India was once the richest empire in the world. But after the arrival of Colonialists and because of some selfish traitors, its all history...!!!
Really? Imperialism and colonialism were the only culprits? How about the good old' politicians ruling the country today? They are simply robbing India. But people keep voting for them? How come? At least with the British, you had an excuse. They 'enslaved' us. We didn't have a choice. But with these politicians, we do have a choice, don't we? Then, how come most Indians are incredibly dumb enough to vote for third rated thugs like Laloo and Mulayam? The point is - India is facing the biggest threat in the form of corruption, that too from the so called 'rulers' of the country. First we need to fix that before we could point our fingers to colonialism.
I am going to be staying in India for a month to get my Yoga Certification most likely as a paying guest in someones home in the mountains hopefully they are nice and respectful as you say they are
