Are you relieved that the elections are [nearly] over? For what reasons? What is the next big thing going to be now that the big elections are over?

Will the people high on the election drug become depressed once the fact that it is all over sets in and they realize that they are back to reality?

I'll be glad to get back to work. I spent WAY too much time here over the past few weeks.

I suppose the conservatives will suddenly realize they have a lot of work to do too. They'll realize they never really cared about this election anyway and won't want to participate in the Obama victory threads.

    Just a hunch.

I'll be relieved to not see any more political ads for a while :) I think they waste a lot of our time with those dumb things.

I'll be very relieved if Barack Obama wins. I'm very nervous despite all of the great polls and everything. I, of course, voted for Obama this morning and volunteered going door to door for about three hours. We had so many volunteers where I was at (southwestern Virginia) that there's really nothing left for me to do so I'm taking a break and checking things online.

We're doing everything we can to help turn this country around. I just hope enough people go out and vote for Obama and make this happen. It all comes down to people actually going out and voting.

I'm glad that they are over... And once they are done, people will start complaining about the new president, whoever he may be. Don't expect the madness to end. Ever.

I'll be relieved when McCain wins. With all the dem voter fraud being reported, ACORN and what I'm seeing on the news today, it appears nothing is beneath democrats to win this one.

I did my part today, voted for McCain. Texas will ensure he wins. Texans want to make sure our country isn't turned into even more of a welfare state where trick or treating goes from one day a year, to free handouts every day of the year. Fortunately, "we" are getting out to vote!

Well, the elections aren't over yet. We still have a few more hours to go before all polls close. At least there have been reports of voting going smoothly so far, so we (hopefully) won't have to put up with any recount messes. At least there won't be any more annoying commercials after today---or so I hope.

I just hope it's a clear decision either way... I'd hate to have to go through more recounts.

If there is a recount, it would draw a huge amount of suspicion towards McCain. Especially since it seemed like it was going to be such a land slide for Obama, yet McCain was still so confident

Yeah if McCain wins the election he's going to cut spending and get mavericky!!

.... hey wait a minute..... he'll be working with a Democrat majority in the house and senate (which is expanding as we speak). So if you think he'll be able propose ANYTHING that gets passed cutting any of those Democrats favorite projects you are not only mistaken, you may need to lay off the pain meds.

So for all of you that fell for that Maverick gimmick. No maverick for you! :( That's the dirty little factoid the conservatives were hoping you wouldn't realize ;)

I will have to assume you don't know what "landslide" means.

Do some research on past presidential elections that were "landslides" it will get you out of the ignorance you are in.

I'm hoping all the partisan toolishness that has ramped up in the past few weeks settles down a bit.

I agree... I am closely monitoring the result at NBC and Obama is slowing taking the lead... Go Obama!

People kept "removing" the political signs from my yard, so my sign has been gone for a few weeks now.

I won't be relieved, because we're about to embark on a minimum of four years of absolute hell.

I pray it's Obama, I'm watching and it's been neck and neck for quite some time now... only a few more hours 'til one of the most influential moments of our history.. or four years of absolute hell for the world.

This isn't neck and neck. This election is going to be the worst slaughter by Democrats since the raid on the Branch Davidians of Waco, TX.

Aren't you glad that your country isn't going to be run yet again by the white supremacy?
