Final Gallup Poll: Obama 55%, McCain 44%.

Latest ABC News Poll (they're going to release another one today I think?) -> Obama 54%, McCain 43%.

Admittedly these are the best polling numbers for Obama but even the GOP leaning Rasmussen has Obama up by 6. Things are looking really good right now. But obviously this is not the time to get complacent. The only poll that matters happens tomorrow.

Take yourself and everyone else (friends + family + any other random Obama supporter) you can to the polls tomorrow. Go to VoteForChange.com to find your polling location.

The McCain campaign has slung a lot of mud at Obama during this campaign. They've tried to link him with a lot of professors (no seriously, they have tried to link him to a lot of PROFESSORS) --- but McCain, in the end, has by far the worst associations: GEORGE W. BUSH & DICK CHENEY.

When you see John McCain’s name on the ballot think of George W. Bush & Dick Cheney. A vote for McCain is a vote of support for Bush/Cheney. It’s a vote that says “Yes the last 8 years were great and I’d like 4 more just like them. Thank you.”

It ain't over until the fat lady sings. Remember 2000 ? I won't feel comfortable until they let me past the check in table to cast my ballot.

Zib... the fact that someone now has a job at a university doesnt undo the fact that they have been on the FBIs most wanted list, or have placed bombs at police stations, the Pentagon, or the capitol, or been in a role speaking on behalf of the PLO. Referring to them as "professors" doesnt change that.

If Obama had been given the same media treatment as most politicians he wouldnt be able to make a run for dogcatcher, but because they give him a pass he has a shot at the president despite a pattern of associations with characters that hate America and all it stands for. The totality of the pattern, including his own book saying he was drawn to marxists which kinda explains hanging at Rev "God DAMN America" Wright's church, the association with Ayres who says he doesnt regret setting the bombs, with Doerhn who says she do it again, etc... does not bode well for us.

If he wins I'm sure he'll be a huge hit with those overseas that hate us... but it may be that his runningmate is right about someone deciding to test him. For the sake of this country I hope you're more right about him than I am, or his Biden has been, or Hillary was. I think he's just a Chicago machine politician that doesnt have most of the virtues ascribed to him by his adoring public who place their fingers in their ears every time bad news about him emerged.

Dick Cheney. End of story. Your smear tactics will not work this time. DICK FREAKING CHENEY.

Americans will not vote for another four years of Bush/McCain/Cheney.

I refer to them as "professors" because that's what they are! Well respected professors who are model citizens in their community. I guess it makes sense that the anti-intellectual party would be against professors but some of us think education is a good thing.

That's probably the first thing I've seen you say that made sense. I'd have to agree. It ain't over till the fat lady sings, or Tipper censors her.

I have heard the spread as low as 7 points but I do personally believe it is closer to 15+ I think the press is downplaying how much of a lead Obama has to make the whole 'election' thing more interesting.

So ThraXed, how does the Islamist movement benefit from an Obama presidency?

Even if (when?) he wins in a landslide, he still doesn't have the political clout to impose Sharia law on ordinary Americans.

Hell, he is such a puppet of the Hollywood elite that he can't even make a move to reduce the amount of sex in American movies.

Even when America officially stops supporting Israel, your disorganized groups of clansmen won't be able to destroy that tiny democracy. Hell, that can't manage to stop murdering each other long enough to focus on murdering the Jews.

Sure, America will be much weaker after this election -- but I wouldn't count us out just yet. America survived four years of Jimmy Carter without your team destroying us -- we will survive this too.

It truly scares me the kind of just absolutely insane rhetoric we're hearing from the fringe of the right wing. These people are out of their minds.

It's un-Islamic. It offends people, and that's not politically correct.

Welcome to the new politically correct America, where peoples "feelings" are more important than the First Amendment.

I am terribly amused that you people don't even recognize that many of the Obama supporters on DP are the same people who have been supporting Osama here on DP for the last several years.

    Enjoy your new "friends". :p

Haha, yeah that's hilarious. Republican humor... Heh heh "amused" heh heh.

Hey you know another great joke? The one where a DP member keeps on going around threads reminding everyone that the same people against Obama are the ones that voted for George Bush in the first place. You know that one? :D

It's a real knee slapper because none of them respond. It's like they would like us to forget it. FUNNY huh? :D
