hello i started a blog on sep . i checked my blog's backlink with google and yahoo google shows only 5.but yahoo show 371. i don' how to get backlink from google?
Just continue your link building campaign for your site, and you can view your real backlinks in Google trough webmaster tool.
Ya i did but that was not indexed by google. But yahoo indexed from directory . Now my question how to make my links indexed by google.
Just a quick checklist: Are you hosting the site or using some free hosting? Are you using .com for your domain name? Are you using WP or blogger? Are you using permalink structure effectively? How frequent you update your blog? Is your blog content unique? Are you using rssfeed? Have you ping your blog? Have you digg/ propeller your site? And once I read it somewhere it says just create an Adwords account to advertise your site, within the shortest time you will get your site indexed by G. But I haven't try that but sounds logic.

Be specific will help you to focus better on your time and resource to bring in the target audience you want in the long run. Anyway, at the age of 21, that is what I do too, too many interest too little time.. ;p
Hi. The same thing happened to me with my blog. Yahoo had like 300 backlinks and Google showed 0. This can be because Google is starting to ban blogs from their directories left and right, especially hosted blogs like blogspot. This has to do with Google being upset that people are finding effective ways to advertise that are a WHOLE lot cheaper than Google Adwords. See, people are now using other bloggers for their marketing and advertising services by paying them $5 per blog review of their product. This method is WAY more effective than paying $100 for a google Adwords campaign. Also, google claims they don't like when people "pay" for backlinks, but I don't think that is the real reason. Anyway, have you done any pay per post reviews on your site such as Smorty, or Payperpost. That would explain why Google is not showing your blogs backlinks. But do not fear, because you can still get traffic without Google's help. Just keep blog commenting and pinging the blog comments on high page rank blogs. Also, use social bookmarking sites and pinging services. Don't worry about Google. I hoped that helped

Google doesn't show them all. Not sure if you can see them in the webmaster tools, as someone suggested, though. But Yahoo is generally the most accurate for finding out your sheer number of backlinks.
I also have many backlinks from Yahoo but for Google only 24. So just try to get backlink by comment, link exchange, forums signature and more you can do.
Google is not displaying link as backlink till google server will not think link as permanent link. So, suppose page may crawled by google but your backlink will not appear in google but take breath and just continue link building. you will surely get fruits after sometime.
Thats very true about google. Google sometimes will not show backlinks as they are in SE. You need to continue link building for getting more backlinks to your site.
Submit your blog to: - article directories - press release - blog directories - rss directories - social bookmarking sites And you will get at least hundreds of backlinks!!
