he will not tell you, you see he dont want to even show hes channel(because he dont have one, lol)

    Anway ill help you:
To get more views you can do this:
    1. use good keywords which people actually look for
    2. dont use keyword that is too common and used too many times(some of them: car, animal, funny, sex,.... too many videos out there)
    3. use good title, use smart keywording see 2. rule
    4. search for same videos and do video response(use video response on videos which have many views per day)
    5. connect with other people and chanells
    6. add friends

    7. buy tube increaser, haha

Social networks like Facebook Bebo are a great way to disseminate YouTube videos.

old news.. you don't think "out of the box" which you should with Youtube, otherwise you won't get the viral effect. With these mentioned methods you will gain some hundreds visitors extra a day, but that will not blow your video through the internet.

thomlind, are you kidding me?! You want responses, and I'll agree that the beginning of this thread was not what you were looking for. However, now that someone is actually offering a suggestion you toss it back in his face as an insult. You will not illicit positive feedback from the 'real' marketers you speak of because your attitude sucks dude! I've googled the top watched videos on YouTube. They have over 35 million views in their life time...in their lifetime. What you've been telling us is that you've achieved over 1 million views A DAY! I'm not trying to add insult to injury, but that doesn't seem likely to me, and I suspect to anyone else on this thread either. I think that if you have a video getting several thousand views a day then you're doing GREAT! If, in fact, you've reached this level of youtube marketing on your own, and you don't need help with monetising your videos, then what do you expect to receive from this community. You have newbie marketers salivating over your results. It appears to me that if you are telling the truth (which I'm skeptical of), then YOU should be offering your help to the new guys who either don't know how to use youtube/video sites, or the ones who aren't successful with their videos.

Trust people more and respect their desire to help. I know there are the ones who would love to rip you off, and if there's some of them reading this post, then find another life to screw others over, this isn't the place.

I hope you can find some advise in this post and not just criticism. Good luck my friend.

    -Jonathan

I will offer my services as a youtube consultant - but, I will tell you straight up I think this whole thread is a line of BULL$HIT!!!!!!

    My youtube stats:
    Videos Uploaded: 318
    Video Views: 2,365,383
    Channel Type: Director
    Channel Views: 95,403
    Subscribers: 4,430

    Link to my Youtube Channel

One of the few ways that people get a lot of views is if they uploaded copyrighted material they recorded off TV or ripped off a DVD. Uploading a popular music video, or clips from a recently released movie will get your videos a lot of views quickly, but it will also get your account deleted as soon as someone reports you.

thomlind - I am willing to bet that is exactly what you did. You uploaded a music video, or something you recorded off TV. And that is why you refused to post a link, because you knew that someone would report you to youtube.

I dont need to copy you, I have my own nitch and my own style of videos. Using the excuse that you do not want to post a link because people will copy you - that is a line of BS I have heard over and over.

If you want some help with your videos, send me a message on youtube. Because I need to see what you have done so far. I need to take a look at how the video is layed out, the video description, keywords, production, acting and a lot of other stuff.

You asked for help, but you do not want to provide a link. There is only one real reason for that, and it is you have uploaded copyrighted material that does not belong to you.

I have seen these types of threads posted on digital point several times. Your getting a million views, but when a link to your video is finally posted - the video has been removed because of a copyright claim.

To Jonathan; I respect your reply, but I do not agree with all the things you said, but that's just my opinion.

I have decide to not proceed anymore here since this is not a thread to prove anything. I was just requesting consult, then how the hell are people asking for proves and telling that nobody believes me. You all don't understand that this thread is NOT a matter of believing me whether I do gain that much traffic or not, it's not the issue here. In fact who cares if I generate that much traffic (or not). It was all about some question what to do when you have top results positions in Youtube with several popular keywords. Anyway, like I said before I don't care when people think I am just telling bs. It's not about proving anything, I just had some questions. Anyway I dropped a screenshot below, not that it will make a difference but still perhaps I will get answers in this thread now and not idontbelieveyoushowmesomeprove questions. Hopefully we can go ontopic now and perhaps when your time has come to generate that much traffic you can learn from this thread too, at least that is what I hope for you all. I wish everybody success.

dude dont fall for this crap.... like people will say prove it etc... but DO NOT post your youtube info. These guys are just scabs and will replicate your method exactly and thats all they want. They are to lazy to do the research themselves.

So if you really are doing 1mil views a day then good on you. There is nothing you can really do to maintain this except ask people to comment. That could keep it steady for a while if people do it constantly. But other than you just gotta hope another video doesnt overtake you... maybe 1 star videos near urs lol?

    Very nice screen btw :D

Personally I think you have uploaded a video that you have recorded off TV or ripped off of a DVD. That screen shot could be from the whole account - not just one video. And its getting @150,000 views a day - not the one million like you stated in the first post of the thread.

You want help, but you do not want to provide details. And there is a reason "WHY" you do not want to provide the details - and I think you are hiding something.

This is what is going to happen - once the video is removed from youtbe, then you will post a link. When we go to view the video, we will see that it was removed because of a copyright claim. And you of course will tell everyone that the video was yours and the people that had the video removed were jealous of your video.

When I first joined digital point there was a thread exactly like this one. I am gonna go find that thread and post a link to it. Because the same exact BS was going on in both threads. You even sound just like the person that posted that other thread.

    ===================== EDIT =======================

Ok, I found that other thread, here is the link - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=765508

Notice how in the thread I linked to the guy post the same extact replies -
That there was even a screen shot posted - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=765508&page=2 Just like in this thread.

Same EXACT BS - just different threads!!!!!!!

I agree that is BS! I did not open this thread to discuss BS, I did not open this thread to prove anything, I did not open this thread to ask how much I can make, I just opened this thread to ask how to maintain a f*cking position, that's all!!

    How to maintain your position:

Make "original" videos that people want to watch - its that simple. Do not upload videos that do not belong to you or else your account will be deleted.

But if you knew how to make good, funny, original videos you would not be here asking now would you? Just take the first video you "made" and make another. If you made one viral video, you should have a good starting point to make another. Its clear that you know how to make "original productions" that people will want to watch, because your screen shot "proves it" - huh.

If people like "your" video, they will subscribe to your channel. And as you get more subscribers to watch "your" videos your views will pick up.

But then again, I dont think you actually uploaded your own original production. I subscribe to some of the heavy hitters on youtube, and I sure dont see them here posting questions. I see them making videos.

The more subscribers you have, the more views you get, its that simple. The funnier the videos, the more subscribers. Good traffic takes months and even years to build up.

is there good monitiziation on videos? i mean if you have a million views then there should be a ton of people driving to your website. i would think you could turn that into a cash cow pretty fast. but then again i am new to all of this. im just trying to take it all in and learn as much as i can.

I've heard a lot of inspiring things about youtube. That's a lot of veiwers. You should be earning good mone from those of eyeballs. Is it your own vids you are putting up? What camera do you recommend?
