Clients ads not appearing

One of my clients ads have stopped appearing.

I emailed Google and they say that the ads are running and there have been XX clicks today.

However when we log into Google Adwords it shows no clicks and no impressions for today.

Google Analytics shows a similar story.

Also when we search for the target keywords the ads which usually ranked 1 & 2 are not appearing.

Can anyone shed any light on this situation?

Stats can be delayed a few hours.

Do you have ad delivery set to standard or accelerated?

What does the diagnostic tool tell you?

"Also when we search for the target keywords the ads which usually ranked 1 & 2 are not appearing"

You're not double serving are you? I've seen campaigns get paused for this while it's investigated.

    No not double serving lol!

Although we do have an affiliate bidding on the same keywords and the landing page is the same. Could that be something to do with it?

Doubtful. Is the diagnostic tool not giving you your ad status?

We just found our advert disappeared, when an affiliate started bidding on the same terms, with the same Display URL.

We were told that Google would only display the advert with the higher bid/QS for a given Display Domain, so our client had to stop the affiliate from bidding on that term (their brand name, which they hadn't trademarked!?)

Google replied to me and they said the account was under review but have now started serving the ads again. I've emailed all affiliates asking them not to direct link.

Update: Ads still not showing. They have also stopped showing on Yahoo and MSN PPC but competitors ads still appear...

Are all the PPC networks linked?

Only by their respective policies. Find out what the problem is on one and you'll find it's likely to be the same across the others.

Yahoo ads are running my mistake. MSN and Google are not.

Have you checked whether your adverts are appearing using www.google.com/adpreview?

Searching for the same terms repeatedly will show misleading and inaccurate results...
