The theme you are using makes the blog look a bit generic, you should get a more original theme for the blog add some graphics to the page.
Thanks for the advice. I went from a different theme to this one because I liked the layout and look of it. But I definitely agree with you that it needs some sort of graphic at the top of the page I think. I try when I get a chance to put pictures in my posts but I don't think that is enough. I will look into changing the header.
