Internal links are important because they define the internal structure of your site...don't worry about those. Just try to link similar pages together. Also, breadcrumbs really help the strength of internal links (Home > Computers > Computer Parts, etc)

It is impossible to give a correct answer.
I NEVER advocate placing your site as a sig link but on this occasion it is probally the best way forward.
Just not enough information from 134/4
It is like asking.......I met a girl 38/26/46 shall I marry her????
Apart from saying her arse is fat....what else can we tell??

Using a Breadcrumb concept is an excellent idea and should be considered mandatory.

As for any on-page outbound links, they should contain the "nofollow" attribute.

There are a variety of opinions on this matter. It depends on your goal. I have a website with a 43,000 internal links and about 82 external links. It does very well for long-tail keywords.

I will give you some advice. Just like real-life it's not what you know it's who you know. Google takes a look at who links to you. If a credible site links to you then Google will increase your quality score, and your positionings.

Some external links are always a good thing. But link directories are not. Keep your links to your closest partners and keep them on topic.

Not sure sure on link directories.
They really do niche a site and as long as they are contexted and have no follow within the last two weeks with recent updates they might actually help,
when made a segment of a larger site. Not to mention affilate cookies that can be cloaked for contributions to the "Cookie Jar" which the sponsor may not be aware of.
"Have your cookie and each it is the trimeric webmaster joke"

Debatable though no supporting evidence. Google may well give TR for do follow to sites with what they consider TR which as you know is PTFE for the hilltop.

That definatly is killing your PR on that page but don't worry about internal linking in terms of number of links in the page just don't exceed 100 external links per page.
