If you think everyone that believes killing babies is bad is just a religious zealot, you're dreaming. The majority of America disagrees with you. I'm still amazed at the pretzel-like mental gymnastics that allows someone to be anti-death penalty but pro-abortion. If we had to kill *someone* you'd think they'd side with babies before criminals.
The majority of Americans are in fact pro-choice. The sad thing is that so many people vote against their own economic self interest because of this one issue. What's probably most sad about it is that the Republicans would never do anything about it anyway. They just use this issue as a way to control voters.
ROFL. Zib, if I wanted to see the DNC talking points I'd just read Plouffe's emails. If you believe everything you're posting you've bought their stuff hook-line-and-sinker, and you're gonna be real dissapointed when you find "change you can believe in" was total bunk and the boy is just another political hack that has a genetic predisposition toward lying.
I find it awfully unbelievable that the person who supports McCain/Palin would bring up lying. Their entire campaign has been based on an endless stream of lies and despicable guilt by association tactics. Right... Because FDR didn't clean up Hoover's mess and Bill Clinton didn't clean up Bush I's mess... Riiiight. History has shown time and time again that the economy flourishes under Democratic Presidents. The sad thing is that so few people know their history.
Well, given the media already called it, much like they did in 2000 and in 2004, I guess it is over Personally, I'd rather wait and see. Should be an interesting night. Its either gonna be slow and close, or a quick and massive victory for one of the other. Which one, IMO remains to be seen. Time will tell!
I find it awfully gullible that an Obama fan thinks "The One" hasnt been lying through his teeth or that his pattern of associating with people that literally hate the United States is acceptable.
It is acceptable given the end justifies the means to these people. Someone who can do no wrong and is elevated to such a high level of stardom is exempt from such accountability.
So does the American public think we are electing the next big celebrity instead of President? Kinda feels that way to me. I was thinking about this earlier this morning. Obama has been turned into a celebrity and I think his campaign did that on purpose. With all the "American Idol", "Dancing with the Stars", and Britney Spears fans out there, no wonder.... If he shaves his head, marries a backup dancer, and starts speaking with a British accent we are going to have issues...
Ah yes --- the "Celebrity" attack. The good old days. There's been so many baseless attacks since then from McCain/Palin - I almost forgot that ol' hit. What's really ironic is that the McCain campaign tried to paint Obama as an empty suit "Celebrity" (when he is anything but) and then actually chose an empty suit celebrity as his VP, Sarah Palin. I'm glad that we won't have to hear anymore of this ridiculous name calling from the GOP. Tomorrow America will finally remove the GOP from power.
Zibblu, what you should be asking is if a charge like that will even matter tomorrow. After tomorrow we'll have plenty of OMG America is in trouble. And when it doesn't happen we'll laugh at them and make George Bush comparisons. Just enjoy the victory tomorrow. Let them be angry.
what self interests are these? If they were actually smart, wouldn't they need less handouts and be less dependent? But like they say, don't bother thinking - just vote democrat.. they'll do the "thinking" for you. Like rob said I love how the democrats play the race card all the time and suck up to the minorities, but they clearly illustrate how lowly they view blacks and other "supposed to vote democrat" races. It's an old stereotypical train of thought that blacks = poor, whites = rich. Don't you think it's about time to treat people as individuals instead of by race? You say blacks always vote democrat for their self interest right? Well why are all these black people voting for BJ Lawson (Constitutional Republican) in North Carolina? Isn't it odd, that the people you say that are supposed to be begging for handouts, now want to clean up government from the very danger you endorse? Maybe blacks don't all want free handouts? Hmmm, never would've thought
