Agreed. I hate spam. I am sure most of you guys do as well so don't spam on there blog. Have something constructive to say. You wouldn't want someone to write spam on your blog so why do it on theirs?

 

Commenting on other people's blog is my number one strategy to get backlinks. It's so helpful.

I have found trading 125 x 125 ads to bigger blogs seems to work well. You will find that most people with link you if you have been around for awhile.

Very useful tips these days. Content never wasn't more important than it is today. If you have a lot of great stuff on your site not only google likes your website but also users are spending much more time on it.

 

Just to piggyback off of your second idea, adding a lot of contact information may help lend authority as well. Some think the Google algorithm gives points for having phone numbers, physical addresses, etc.

Yup there are tons of ways to create links. I haven't added them all to this list. This is just an idea of some of the many ways you can do link building.
