Is My Adsense Annoying..?

I finally got adsense up and running on my forum and I just wanted to know if the placement would be annoying to anyone that visited.. Is it too striking or is it out of the way, could I have it in a better place or does it look great..?

 

I almost couldn't find it so not in the way at all. Do you have a good click through rate ? as not in a very good position I would think.

I just put it up, so I guess it's too early to judge anything.. The only thing I can do is ask for advice.. =\

 

DP has the same adsense placement.

 

It's the least annoying that I have seen, but your CTR may not yield much.

 

Where is the best place to put it..?

 

You can check out how I have it on my IPB forum. No one has complained about this layout. I did install the mod where it would put ad code as the 2nd post in a topic but everyone revolted and I had to take it down after only an hour.

One more thing. Putting it where you have it allows the ad to appear on non-content pages like login and registration. That is against Google's ToS.

 

Where is the adsense? I can't see it.

 

Do ads show when you're logged in and looking at topics ?

I'm thinking the Adsense spider is going to get stopped at the door for registration just like everyone else is.

 

The adsense is viewable throughout the forum.

It's on the right hand corner on the top.

 

Didn't google remove that from their policy like 3 years ago ? They had removed the sentence that previously said, "This includes error, login, registration, “thank you” or welcome pages."

 

I can only see 1 ad unit at the moment and definitely that is not annoying in any way. Seen much worse than this one because there are some who actually integrated the ads among forum categories.

 

Ya, not annoying at all, however that does seem to be the default forum placement!

 

That links annoying! But the adsense isn't, might not be a very high ctr there though.

Not annoying; but consequences = super low CTR.
