Probably many/most of you know Yul Brynner who played the King of Siam in the movie and stage musical "The King and I". I remember hearing the sad news of his death in 1985 from lung cancer. Just a few days later, I saw this commercial.

Though it is hard to quit, you can do it with your will. You must divert your mind to other things.

There are much better alternatives to relieving stress other than smoking, like exercising for example. ;)

I have been taking in my fair share of polluted air for 11 years now. I tried to stop like 5 times and never went successful. Anyone has any ideas that REALLY works?

This is the best way to stop smoking. But it will only work if you set your mind to quit. I haven't quit but I always slow down if I am distracted doing something else. Now my smoking is only limited to when I drive (or drink) :)

I stopped smoking in 2001 after about 40 years and so far am still clean. I didn't stop all at once -- smoking was banned where I worked, then I stopped smoking in my house, then finally stopped altogether. But at a price -- I gained weight because I wanted to eat everything that wasn't nailed down.

Today smoking is really bad habit for all.

here i want to share something which one i read on one health care blog.

    that,

The Nicotine and Smoke of Tobacco can cause constriction of the Blood Vessels and So that Reducing the Distribution of Oxygen and Nutrients to the gum tissue.

Cigarette Smoking or Chewing spit tobacco can also reduce the ability of the Body to Fight Infections & gum disease
