I should relax (maybe) but seeing the other posts, and been scammed over 4 times here at DP, Im not on edge, just on defcon 2.

On the main topic, my site was down for over 5 hours, but all the time my ftp was still available.

And now my site is back up, http://www.proxypeer.info , but ive pushed some seo its way which should kick in soon.

There are no posts and itrades from seedingrules (Daniel B) on this board. Seems to have disappeared along with the cash he took from honest members.

 

As stated above there is a problem with the digitalpoint database, look around and you will see alot of posts from seeding rules especially in seedbox threads.

As for the guys who got suspended, seedingrules has told me you guys were using up more then %40 of the CPU when in the thread it states there is a %14 max cpu usage rule in effect. From another hosters point of view I would say he took the proper route. Your accounts got suspended and not up and terminated like some hosts may do and I am sure you guys will be able to work something out to not use so much CPU or possibly upgrade your accounts to accommodate for your high usage.

MikeB67 I don't know your relationship with seedingrules but the glype script that I was using had stop hotlinking enabled and 5 mb per IP set. The site had less than 300 uniques in the 2 days it was it was up. Also I have many other sites with more domains using more more cpu usage and those sites never had any cpu usage issues and that is on a shared hosting! (those site are still up and running for over a year) I take issue with you in regards to the proper route was taken. This hosting cost approximately $1.00 for every hour it was up. The very least a notice could have been sent if there were any problems with bandwidth or cpu usage. A refund or partial refund should have been issued if he could not accommodate the hosting. If there are a lot of posts from seedingrules, where are they now? As of this date and the past 3 days, no post counts are showing. I do not buy the digitalpoint database problem or is the problem with seedingrules? Why are PMs not answered? Why contact seedingrules on msn when he is peddling the scam hosting here?

 

Me personally has a host, if I see a client bogging down a server and affecting other paying clients I suspend them as I feel thats the best thing to do then discuss a fix to the solution after wards.

As for saying you cannot find any posts by seeding rules, I'll go ahead and give you some since you can't find them yourself.

Seedingrules has scammed me too. The server is down so much it's ridiculous. I've tried contacting him all night, but he didn't even try to reply. He oversells the servers way too much.

I'm really pissed at this dude right now. He's losing me a lot of money.

Site got about 70 hits then this happened, and he could even have joined again with a temp user name to explain himself.

Either that or his account as well as his ip are banned by dp.

sir how much did you pay? always remember $1 hosting means unreliable.

Also he was a master reseller i think. so his master might have banned the accounts after taking yearly payment.

I have seen him taking yearly payments and then going away.

Why dont you do chargeback in paypal ?

Fucking prick scammed us, simple as that.

To all the others that have been scammed by this prick, I suggest you file your disputes in PayPal.. if he doesn't resolve them, then file claims with PayPal.. you are entitled to your money back.

well im not affiliated with him so dont think i have anything to do with this..........I just remembered i had him on msn so i thought id see whats going on

 

I paid $18 for a year to just host 1 glype domain.

Ive purchased other servers here for proxy accounts, ie Iwhic, where ive got 2 proxy domians and 5 proxy sub-domains using over 150gig a month, 500+ visits on each with no down time, and it works out a cost of $0.42 per domain per month.
So if a long term member with a shit load of itrades offers $18 a year, because of his creadability I trusted him.

Agree fully with you. I got seedingrules on MSN when my site went down and he got very rude. Asked me to PM him through web zone talk. What for - he doesn't even respond. And help and hosting area in his forum has been closed.
