Press release to promote my site

    Hi i want to do a press release to promote my new site, do you think i should put the press release on my site, then do some social bookmarking which points to the press release which is on my site?

    It will of no use if you expect the media people to bother about coming to your site and reading your PR. Mail it to the media groups directly.

    Hi thanks for responding, I have two versions of a press release, one which i will submit to the media and one for general users who may be interested in my services, do you think i should still go ahead with my plans to place a press release on my site then social bookmark it?

    Good point,there are lot of sites where u can submit for free,there are paid ones also.
