Hello Guys, did anyone over here noticed that when ever you make a search of popular keywords it comes up with lots of forum,.edu,social network and blogspot links ? i dont know why google is not taking care of it anymore ? and how do spammers manage to get those pages on the top position for a single spammy page ?????
It's true. The internet is being congested with stupid blogs and automated sites and search portals that nobody gives a shit about. We need to be more clean, and remove inactive domains & sites, or search engines just won't work anymore.
Yes i agree with it. many spam sites or no relevant sites or not good optimized sites come up on home page. I am also worried about it. my site was on page 3 , 2 weeks ago and i was expecting to get on 2nd or 1st page. and i get more links, and my site go page 10th. and many spam sites come on google 1st page. I am also not sure, how those spammy sites get ranking in 1st page. But i also notice these sites stay 4 to 5 hours only. But it repeat each after 1 or 2 days. any experience person that can tell more about it.?
It's all because of SEO. You need proper crawling through your site. .EDU and blogspot (includes wordpress, lenses) have better rankings
^^ You guys crack me up. Didn't you notice a major change at Google serp's last Monday? How can you miss it?
It's not the case of adwords - Google is trying it's best to stop paid links and other such things which boost up ranking but it's really difficult to stop this and I don't think google will be successful in stopping this thing !
Have you read this forum - a large number of the DigitalPoint membership are responsible for those MfAs, scraper sites, one page affiliate sales pages, and blogs made up entirely from articles copied from ezine.com
Edu and blogspot links are not be spam; they may be better and more useful than self-hosted blogs. social network profile links may not be useful. No, edu or blogspot or wordpress don't have better rankings than normal websites.
Yes, correct. Normal websites give good rankings. Some excellent blogs are still giving good backlinks.
PR has nothing to do with where a site ranks in Google. You can have a site with a PR2 that can outrank a PR5 site.
This is something that a lot of people don't know...... Why you need high PR I do not know, as it barely affects anything..... And Google can't do much as they use a robot to search and add pages. Go report a bunch of spamming Blogspot blogs if you want to solve the problem....
