Sometimes people may not be able to spell correctly or use proper grammar taylorwisdom, but that does not mean that they do not have knowledge of SEO. I think that your comment is completely and utterly rude and that you should not get on here and try to pretend that you know something about SEO when you really don't. Because if you did then you would know that it has nothing to do with the english language, SEO is multi-cultural and comes in many different languages. I don't mean this in a condescending way towards you, I'm just saying that you shouldn't pretend to be something that you're not. If you don't know what SEO consists of then don't try to tell other people that they don't know about it. I don't go on car repair websites and use fake technical knowledge to advertise my "Expertise". Maybe you can review your comment and possibly do the right and human thing which would be to apologize. I don't know you at all and so there is no way of knowing your personality, but if you are a decent human being and not ignorant than you should understand. P.s. To the original thread starter, you should move this to the BST section!
That's not what I'm saying. How can he promote an English language website effectively? SEO is search engine optimization. If you've got an English website, you're looking for English visitors. You get those visitors from people who speak English searching for terms relevant to your website. How can someone possibly attempt to gain traffic to English keywords if they don't know English? The nuances are large enough that it makes an enormous difference, and I'm speaking from experience. To someone who is taking on English as a 2nd language, the term "car buy" makes sense; but to the target audience (a native speaker) that looks like gibberish and they'll be turned away. This isn't my first time at the rodeo, everyone has a place and I apologize for being hostile. The fact of the matter is that we've got a poster who didn't take the time to read forum guidelines, posted in the wrong section and is advertising a service that as far as I'm concerned, cannot be practically delivered. fuck it, I'm not showing the world my epn stats. I'll PM you if you're curious just what entitles me to my opinion.
Hey I didn't mean to offend anybody here. I here what you are saying, but I do not agree. I believe that you are considering other factors which are not really the core of SEO, which is knowing what to do to get good rankings from search engines. He did not say that he is offering a content writing service or a link building service where he will build keyword links. He is just saying that he knows SEO. Put it this way, I have no clue on how to read the spanish language, but I guarantee that I can rank a spanish website with the knowledge of SEO that I have. I may need to hire writers who are proficient in the language to create content and links, but the actual SEO tactics are still coming from my brain and not the writers. So maybe he is really knowledgeable in SEO but he cannot write too well in english. Again, I did not want to offend anybody, I just happened to come across this post and thought I could add my 2 cents. I agree that he did not take the time to read the rules but to me that does not constitute tearing down his efforts and belittling him in a public forum, that is just wrong. So I hope you understand both points of view, as I do. Happy Trails....
