We understand YOU think it isnt a story. Now tell us if you really believe that the aunt came into the country to see her nephew inaugurated and did NOT discuss her attempt to gain asylum in this country with her nephew the Senator. I'm just curious if you'll stoop to say you believe she did not.

The picture was of crickets singing while we wait for Zib to display the intellectual honesty he's asking for elsewhere. His ONLY defense is to crawfish and refuse to answer the question, and that fails the intellectual honesty test too... but:

• If he admits he doesnt believe Obama's story he's calling his candidate a liar who is complicit in an immigration violation...
• If he says he believes the aunt crossed the ocean to attend Obama's inauguration and never mentioned her attempt to gain political asylum, just proves he's so in the bag for Obama he refuses to tell the truth.

Zib needs to either stay off the topic of intellectual honesty or be prepared to display some.

I just flat out DO NOT CARE at all about this. Not even a tiny tiny bit. By even getting into the discussion of who knew this or who knew that you are propagating the idea that this story matters. It does not. It is meaningless. It's like me asking what cereal McCain had for breakfast. What McCain had for breakfast is slightly less important than whether a US Senator turned a blind eye for 4 years while a relative disregarded a court order to obey immigration law. One is a breakfast choice, the other is complicity in a breach of immigration law, and he took an oath about that law in 2004. Add to that he's now lying about it. "Change we can believe in?" How bout a story we can believe?

You can be darn sure if Palin was involved in this it'd be an issue... but apparently intellectual honesty to admit that escapes some folks.

 

It's not possible that Obama didn't know.

It's clear from that single sentence that it's unlikely Obama has much of a relationship with his father's sister. HE BARELY EVEN KNEW HIS FATHER. Why would he have a significant relationship with his father's sister? It doesn't make any sense.

What I care about is The Economy, Civil Liberties, Education, The Environment, Foreign Policy, & Health Care. This latest nonsense from the fringe Fox News loonies doesn't change the fact that Obama is right on all of those issues and McCain/Bush are wrong.

I don't think people care about stuff like this. I think it's unlikely that Obama knew anything about this as he doesn't know his (father's side) aunt very well (and barely knew his own father) and even if he did know about it - I just don't see how that's relevant. With all of the stuff McCain has in his closet you really think that's worth anything? McCain has his own "association" problems like G. Gordon Liddy and THE KEATING FIVE.
