Any good *street* or *rap* movies?

Weird taste in movies, for sure...well ATL was good (watched it last night) not much of a movie guy.

Some others I liked:

- Boyz n Tha Hood
- 8 Mile
- 50 Cent's movie

Any other suggestions? (Besides Hustle & Flow)

 

I like gangsta films too. A couple of other good ones I remember are Jacked Up and Menace II Society.

If you're from the UK, you should really watch Bullet Boy, Kidulthood and Adulthood. Infact I would suggest anyone who isn't from the UK to watch them aswell. You can learn what it's really like in some parts of London. There's a lot more to Britain than David Beckham and Tea! Knives and drugs play a huge role.

 

Menace II Society is similar to Boyz N Tha Hood? I remember watching it.

Not from the UK and don't like UK movies.

Already saw that one of course. I watched Hustle & Flow the night I posted this thread and it was actually pretty good. A bit of a tear jerker

It is a classic for this particular genre. I suggest you watch it, very good tearjerker street movie
