Adwords can be frustrating

    Is this correct?

You can pay low amounts for each click using Google Adwords even in competitive niches.

It is all dependent on your landing page and relevance of it.

It is very hard to make a one page website - sales page and get a good relevance.

Apart from adding a contact and terms of service page - how else can you get the minimum click amount down?

It can be so frustrating to use Adwords.

I started out some time ago with out a system and it frustrated the life out of me. Google I have found can be very "unpredictable" at times and this can be frustrating even when you understand how adwords works.

It's a fascinating system they have and if you do not know what your doing it can frustrate you and take wads of cash out of your pocket.

Yes you can if you find the right keywords.

Your landing page along with a ton of other stuff is vital yes.

Say your keyword was "widgets". If you now buy the domain name widgets.com or widgetsreviewed.com and you build a web page all about "widgets" you then have other pages on your site about widgets. You are on the way to getting a high quality score and a low cost per click.

Reduce your frustration, get some know how from the gurus. Yes you have to pay for it.

There's a link in my sig below that will help you.

You don't have to pay for anything - especially not for AdWords advice.

EasyCash, just leave your questions in the forum. People will be glad to help.

You got that right, frustrating as hexx.:)
A few basics for getting your costs down:
    1. Have the keyword in your domain name.
    2. Use the keyword in your ad Title and of course body.
    3. Use the keyword in the title of your landing page.
    4. Make sure your landing page does EXACTLY what your ad claims.
    5. Have a clear call to action on your landing page.

Many people think you need a 500 page website when doing PPC. Heck, the best landing pages are probably 400 words or less. Google likes everything plain and simple and easy to read. Try to have everything in the first fold.

The deal with the Contact Page and Privacy statement came around a few months back. It is a good idea to have them. The other thing you could have that might help is the Articles link/page. Google calls this content:) I've got another name for it.

    Hope this helps,
    Zeek

Do you need a contact page and TOS page? What about a privacy policy page?

Yep, privacy policy is good too. One other way is by having a great click through rate on your ad. Usually having the keyword somewhere in your ad is a good start but you also have to make it so people interested in what you're offering want to click your ad. Look at what others are doing and find a way to make your ad better.

You need more than just a one page website. Wordpress blogs are good background filler (as long as you add some relevant content as posts) for a domain because the search engines like blogs and its easy to set up the other pages you need. You can then run your landing page as a sub domain off your main site.

Another option to get a good quality score is by using something that allows you to dynamically tailor each landing page based on the keyword searched. Something like LPGen is a good choice (www.lpgen.com) but maybe a bit confusing if you're just starting out.

Its hard to have your keyword in your domain name if you are just starting in a niche and don't know what is going to convert. You can add it to the end of a domain name by using Google's dynamic keyword insertion in your display URL as in:

    domain.com/{keyword}

Adwords is like a giant jigsaw puzzle - you got to put everything together to get what you want so keep asking questions and it will start to come together.
