Generally, I write all content myself, one of my key strengths. If time is of the essence I would use this service which enjoys a very good reputation and is very cost effective: http://www.need-an-article.com/
I have 30+ and almost all them are fully developed. There are about 3 parked and a few being developed. I always find myself looking around at domains for sale and I have been pretty good at holding back and trying to get fully developed before I buy any more. Sometimes though opportunity arises and I have to buy a domain
thank everybody, It seems that everybody is working very hard. Develop a site take a lot of time but some of you even develop 30+ sites --> super man. @niceilike "I have 30+ and almost all them are fully developed" --> super man @Magawr "Generally, I write all content myself, one of my key strengths." --> super of super manually man (write article manually) @Scar "I then bombard YouTube with videos watermarked with the appropriate URL" --> you are also a supper man because there is no way to auto post to youtube. you bombard youtube manually --> super manually bomb. All of you work so hard so I must work hard as well. I will learn PHP and write an auto posting tool for myself. For those have > 100+ domains, most of them are parked. Can you share experience about domain parking? Do you earn anything from ads on parked domains? Do your parked domains get index in google and automatic increase pagerank? Compare 2 methods "use them to point to main domain" and "park them for sale or earn money from ads" which method is more benefit?
I have 40+ domains. Sold the useless ones and buying generic ones. I hope to develop maybe 4 or 5 and offer a few of them to potential end users.
100, 200, really no idea. I keep buying them and turn some into sites while others collect dust. At some point I need to get a script so I can create a site and list some of them for sale. I'm sitting on a bunch of .me domains in hopes that they will someday increase in value.
I don't use any content generation scripts. I either create static mini sites that require no upkeep (namefunk.com, freeonlinesudoku.net) or I run forums. The small static sites actually make me a lot of money in the comparison to the work needed to create them. Forums are more valuable though and they require good management. I can't get into the blog thing myself. I prefer discussions over articles.
I have 80 parked domains which I developed into Online Gambling Portals. They are well garnished with AdSense and I am looking for selling 5 direct URL links per site to affiliate/gambling sites. Each site has approx. 2,500 pages. The content is from Arcog and there is auto-blogging from Technocrati. I have unlimited free hosting. They are all for sale at the moment as well.
I only have around 10-15 domains but i dont use most of them. They most arent linked to any page and just dont load. I get too lazy to develop domains.
How many domain do you have? About 200 What do you do with them? I sit and admire them, thinking they are my ticket to riches and deluding myself into believing that someone will one day offer me lots of money for them. Then renewal day comes around and threatens to destroy my bank balance, thus forcing me to panic and release lots of them. Then the next time I have some money to spare, I go and register another load of domains. This is pretty much my yearly domaining routine.
jeez, domain collectors you annoy me ... not you guys posting here in person probably, but the concept of buying domains that are not used and are collecting virtual dust... Any time you look for a domain, only 10% of the times it's used by a company or organization, the rest of the times they are just parking pages... collecting couple cents a month in ads revenue...
I have around 50 domains and I develop them into quality good looking sites/blogs.... My advice would be develop them
Virtual dust? Not all ppl have time to develop domains, but what's so annoying about investing in domains on long term and without developing them? I mean.. not so long ago there was plenty of free domains worth several thousands today or even milions of dollars. I personally can't forgive myself I did not bought some names I personally saw available around 1999. I wouldn't care if they are parked, really. Do you think it would be big mistake since I would probably not develop them? What means „domains are not used“? I really can't get whats exactly your problem about parked domains?
Ummmm difficult question, as I like different domains for different reasons. I went a bit crazy when .ME was released and I've got some good ones on that extension - my favourite is probably unto.me
I have about 60 at the moment and most of them are up and running in some form or other i think about 5 are just sitting gathering dust so to speak but like most people have plenty of ideas but not enough hours in a day
