I have been thinking about the topic that website A have good content which is ranking in top positions in Google and suddenly the ranking went down for website A. and Now Website B is ranking are going up.....If it is found that the content and link structure of the website B is same as the website A only name of the company and location is replaced.

Now the question is that what should be done to prevent this type of content theft?.......How website A get good ranking again?

If you think that your content has been copied, file a DMA with Google. Should get you sorted.

Would that be applicable only in US? For other countries it will come under other type of copyright laws.

This is only for United States and if the issue is from other country then is there any act or something else to prevent content theft?

So where is the website physically hosted? Depending on that you would have to hire a solicitor who fully understands the copyright laws of the country in question. It is a bit tricky and I must admit it.

Alternatively you could write to the webmaster of the site that has copied your content, threating legal action. That might do the trick;)
