I think you are asking basic questions here. I suggest you go to babypips.com and learn from 1st level. If you could graduate, I'm sure you will earn good steady income from it. If you don't understand at all, then I suggest don't go into Forex.

You'll risk wiping out your entire account until you have understood every single detail. Many just don't understand how leverage works and the effects are disastrous. Follow Atniz's suggestion and go to babypips.com/school to learn some of the basic things you need to know. Then practise for at least six months on a demo account with no more than 2,000 on it (eToro would be nice to start with, but move to something more serious asap), develop your own strategy and if you are consistently profitable you can start investing some of the money you can afford to lose.

definately STUDY this as much as you can before you even attempt to trade, and when you think youve learned it all start a demo account and start studying again. when you can consistently turn a profit on a demo account with little money, you can try it out for real. just keep in mind probably about 80% of people who trade forex just lose money
Also there are techniques that experience traders adopt specifically to get money from newbies. What mentos "forgot" to say earlier is that to earn $200 with only 10 PIPs on e.g. eur/usd you need to invest $200,000... much less (usually $1,000-$4,000) with the leverage, but using high leverages is something newbies should refrain from doing...

I don't think by purely reading ebook will improve your profit. You must acquire hand on experience in order to make profit. As i said,ebook that make by so called guru will not reveal the REAL profitable technique to his reader. Same do i,i will not reveal my technique to anyone
Don't even think about trying Forex unless you have solid experience and background in currency exchange. Start small with some affiliate marketing, copywriting- jobs like that.
