Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone knows what's the biggest forum* in the world? This is the biggest I've found so far but I know for a fact there'll be ones with a greater amount of visitors each week. Looking forward to the replies JW *By forum I mean a site that is based totally around the tool that receives over 90% of its traffic from it. Not a huge site like Yahoo which might have a forum hidden away somewhere getting a few million hits.
In this niche I'd imagine its one of the biggest, its certainly the most active webmaster forum i've come across. If your talking about forums in any niche i'd have thought there would be forums that are bigger than this.
I think DP is the biggest... haven't seen any bigger. gaiaonline.com is the biggest forum in the world.
It's close, but I doubt it's the biggest. I think Webmaster World gets more people, but only by a slight margin. Warrior Forum and SitePoint both get a lot, but they're pretty far behind DP right now. So I went looking and found a site that actually tracks this, www.big-boards.com. The biggest forum is apparently: Gaia Online - 1,435,825,886 posts, 15,241,838 members DP has about 10 million posts and 200,000 members, so you can see the huge difference. The site shows the 25 largest forums on the web, and I think you can dig down and get the entire list somehow (I didn't spend much time looking). EDIT: DP is #130 on their list, I just went looking.
