How we can decide which site use duplicate content?

If I post a new article on my blog and anyone copy paste this article on self blog and also be able to index before me. In this condition which person have duplicate content! Myself or that person who stolen my content?

 

Whoever gets indexed first will get credit for being the original author

 

From now on use http://pingomatic.com/ right after you submit your blog posts because it will ping the search engines and let them know that you have a new post on your blog! Then you will surely get indexed first for your hard work! Hope that helps

 

It is considered that,the old domain has the content which is used by another new domain then that new domain's content will be treated as duplicate content......

Google can determine which is the original content. They are good at that. If they have index a duplicate content, they penalize that site.

 

The only way google can find which website has been written first is using the time stamp of the content creation. But I think that can be modified.

So, the person who gets the original content index first, normally wins. But if you see someone is deliberately trying funny things, you can always report that here http://www.google.com/contact/spamreport.html

yep , I believe vstar is right! Google will treat like this. And Webmaster Tool has report spam, we can use this to tell google whenever we found someone copy our content.

And why dont you tell google adsense? They will check that domain and may ban that account or that domain.

I think Google will keep everything fairplay.

 

Can I conclude that we also focus on link building to avoid being dubbed as a duplicate content blogger?
