    Be careful with the lyrics section. Most lyrics sites these days have their whois domain info hidden or falsified if the do not have special rights to have the copyrighted lyrics ontheir site. Yes, lyrics are copyrighted for the most part.

    Even Google wont go there in there adwords program. Just do a search in gogle for "lyrics" and see what you get for ads.

    I used to have a very successful lyrics site that was getting 10k visits a day and over 144,000 songs with a highly sophsticated lyrics grabber script that I devised. I had adsense ads on the site only to find that I was getting anywhere from 0-0.02 cents per click. So I then focused on cj ringtone ads from jamster and as making 5 bucks a conversion. 3-5k per month just from jamster alone. It was nice.

    However, this was before music.yahoo .com ofered "Strictly Copyrighted" lyrics on their own site. The majority of traffic used to come directly from yahoo music via "Search for X music lyrics" and my SEO efforts really capitalized on that direct link. Then they removed it and I had to rely on Google traffic alone. And google only accounted for about 30% of my traffic at the time.

    In the meantime, I had started to notice some of my competing sites get shut down with legal notices right on the home page as to why they were no longer operating. Sad, but true. I then decided to call it quits and cash out as my season was over.

    I still own the domain, but will not tell publically which one it is, because I do not know if I will proceed again anyways.

    You have a nice site. I hope it works well and you can avoid any legal issues. Imention all this because it only takes one pissed off music artist to come after you. And when you have thousands to choose from on your site, you become a very easy target. Remembe how Metallica went after Napster?
