Well their prices are less and yes they accept paypal but I'm not sure about unverified accounts. Only prb with Godaddy is those annoying ads.

Actually, when it comes to domain forwarding, I've had much better experiences with Namecheap. GoDaddy does offer URL forwarding, but sometimes changes take FOREVER to go into effect. At least in my experience, Namecheap updates almost instantly. Namecheap also offers free private registration, which is a huge plus.

I prefer Namecheap. I am using it over a year now and had never any problems with url forwarding nor anything else. Av lot of my friends recomended me Namecheap- every domain name registered at GoDaddy is really not yours. GoDaddy still has ovnership over your domain name and that can be BIG problem.

On the other hand, GoDaddy is cheaper.

What I don't like about Godaddy is their shopping cart process - they force you to buy tons of other stuff when registering a single domain and if you are not cautious, you can end up buying even what you didn't want. Other than that they are good. Namecheap is fine as well. I also use Dynadot.

I prefer namecheap. I wouldn't transfer unless it really isn't working for you. If in that case, try namecheap support.

Technically, I didn't have many problems with either of them.
As far as customer support though, I had problems with GoDaddy, big ones. Such as poor understanding of the problem and too much time to answer urgent requests for support (days, not just hours).
    Not so much with Namecheap.

    Just my experience...

GoDaddy doesn't accept payments from unverified PayPal accounts. I've tried that and it they don't accept it! Go with NameCheap :)

Godaddy is cheaper but I prefer namecheap because it's services are better and their site does not have tons of ads.
