How can i use Flickr to pormote my site?

I have some really sool car photos/wallpapers and i want to use Flickr to promote my site....how do i do this?

 

Couldn't you just watermark the pictures with your URL and upload them?

What is watermark?

 

A watermark is the text or image that you see at the bottom of alot of pictures posted on the internet...could be your sites logo or URL. It would let people know where they could find more pictures.

Yep watermarking is the best way if you only want to use flickr. Another option that you may or may not thought of is to combine 10 or so of these watermarked photos together into free screensavers and distribute them to as many of the freeware download sites as possible. You can also seed these to torrent sites for additional downloads and site recognition.

 

I think you could add a summary in the picture or your picture. Really any kind of exposure is good exposure, even if it doesn't include a link.

Think of it as a form of branding or social media.

 

Just add "more wallpapers at domain.tld" or something to that effect on the picture.

 

More wallpapers you publish more traffic you get.
