Please Help Me Find What's Wrong With PC!!!!!!!

I do a Google search. It doesn't matter what I search for. I click on a result that should take me to an ovbious page (nick.com for sponge bob, Google for google keywords, etc...) Then what happens? A new window opens and instead of going to the page I just clicked on, it goes to a random shopping page of some kind.

I just tested on Yahoo. Same thing. I searched for "nike" and clicked on first result (nike.com duh) - a new window opened and this is where I end up:
    http://ww1.glimpse.com/search?query...m-_-glimpseww1-_-premium-www.beedly.us-_-nike

What got in my PC? Please help if you can.

What browser are you using? Check to see if there is an update for it and run your anti-virus/spyware software as suggested.

It expired a few days ago! I can't even go find a free one (not that they usually remove anything), because I can't click on search results. I'm trying to do a system restore right now, but either it's very lagging or it's not going to work...

I'm using Firefox. Good idea. Let me see if same crap happens in IE or not, and check FF for updates (but it normally auto-updates).

Same thing happens in IE. "nike" took me to: http://www.crispykicks.com/ (I'm sure everyone knows, don't click these links unless ya know what you're doing. I'd assume there's something fishy with them but I don't really know)

Thank you for all the links, they're all free? I'm waiting for Norton to remove from PC before going ahead with the AVG installation. I'll then check out these others as well. Thank you!

    LOL @ debunked

Thank you for the link. I looked up spybot at download.com and it seems to not be a free software. I'm going to go read the link you provided.

Usually when I go to clean up someone's computer I make sure the internet is disconnected as I delete, scan or reboot, etc... this keeps trojans and viruses from getting more "parts" to install while doing the clean up.

You need to go the sites and read how to remove specific items from your registry.

oh, and I was serious about how you get these viruses.
