5 Reasons Why Kontera Sucks with Big S.

1) Earned 5$ or less in a given month ... sorry that money won't be paid at all i.e. will not be added in your account carry forward balance. Please refer to clause 4.2 in payment terms. Wow hidden terms and conditions that too with ur own publishers.

2) Need to use Kontera with additional sites ... contact them. No they don't have this feature in control panel.

3) Need to know your total amount earned till now ... sorry contact there sucking support. There detailed report doesn't has any ... lifetime or till last payment option an you can't select beyond 6 months in custome date selection.

4) Pay you 30 days after you reach 100$ ...... a milestone that will take million of impressions to reach taking there 1 cent epc into account. And yes they think themselves on par with adsense that's why 100$ min payout.

5) For 15 out of 30 days you'll see more clicks than cents in ur kontera report. There per click earning sucks ..... you lose a visitor for damn cheap amount.....

The standard reply of there support for low per click earning is

Why there is a need for manual optimization? Don't your highest quality technology do anything regarding optimization for publishers.

So small Publishers should never touch kontera. Adbrite/Infolink are better option .... atleast they don't eat up your earning of less than 5$.

i wrote this before, and i write it here again, because this is the right thread.

kontera policy is simple :

1- taking as much money from advertisers (which are few)
2- give the publisher 0.01$ per click
3- the minumm for payment is 100$ ( 10000 clicks to reach this amount)
4- if you make less than 5$ per month, kontera take this money.
5- small publishers give up and kontera takes the whole thing including the 0.01$ because you stoped useing kontera without giving them 30 days notice. !! (oh yes .. read kontera terms).

 

dunno about you people but Kontera brings in about $100 a month

 

Heard so many times that this company sucks ass. There links are also slow loading and if I go to a site which uses them, the site goes down in my estimation for annoying the heck out of me with their advertising
