Babel. That movie was like a knock off of Crash. But it was nerve wracking. Edge of your seat. I didnt like it much.

I did not like Babel at all. Yes it was a knockoff of Crash, but I didn't think it was nerve wracking or very good for that matter-- kind of sucked actually in my opinion. I can't mention any of the reasons that I thought it sucked, though, because I can't remember since it was so long ago.

The last movie I was The Reaping, which was last week. If no one's seen it, it's basically about a small town that gets hit with the 10 Biblical Plagues. It was an okay movie and had some good elements to it, but it's not something that I'd see again.

One movie that I'm waiting to come out on DVD is The Dark Knight--- now there's an awesome movie! If you haven't seen it then you definitely need to when it comes out- hats off to Heath Ledger, essentially the biggest star of the film!

The last movie I saw at the theater was Mamma Mia! It was so nice to watch a movie for 'big people' and not kids. What a treat!

Cop Land - good film, seen it before & it turned out to be worth watching again. Makes me want to listen to Springsteen.

need to get the dvd & the directors cut sound interesting too. My TV guide claimed it was a 15 but my old video copy is an 18 & imdb & amazon has it as still an R/18 rating:confused: wonder if the tv guide was wrong or ch4 was showing a cut version. (Ch4 was showing it in widescreen:cool: but the adverts got too annoying - so I switched to the video.)

I saw the 2 new releases today :) Golmaal Returns and Fashion back2back :p

Golmaal Returns - I would called it as a Mad-like comedy movie with no real story [Tushar Kapoor's acting is worth watching :p]

Fashion - Just another Madhur Bhandarkar movie with excellent story and great performances by the actors :)

wow, I'd watch it just to watch her :D

JTMD was pretty good I thought.

you know how some threads just get locked b/c it seems like people are posting in there just to post (if you know what I mean). I'm not sure why, I wouldn't force the issue though.

ha-ha Daisy's lure continue to grow!

I've seen several since 'the other' thread got locked. Vb and I had an inside joke for a while in the 'most entertaining member' thread where we'd work in our most recent views into the conversation.

For example: Wow, base jumping huh? Well have fun, just be sure not to DIE HARD

Actually the other thread closed right before I could finally weigh in on the ending to"no country for old men'....you guys were sure right...the ending bought the ass!!

I'd have to check my Netflix DVD que to list all the movies since I've seen but the most recent was last night I watched 'Walk Hard, the Dewey Cox story'. :p

    son of biscuit! :D

Sometimes I ramble, is that the same thing?

I felt I need to use more than my usual 12 words to kick things off :D

I finally watched Apoclypto, weird wild stuff. I thought it was going to be like futuristic type thing, I guess b/c of the Apoclpt prefix.

Pretty wild though and it's crazy to think S like that actually happened way back when!
