The funny part is that you bolded and put in red the most INACCURATE part of your post as if to proudly proclaim your ignorance on the subject. :D:D

Read my posts above. It clearly lays out that the vice President is the President of the Senate as declared by the constitution of the United States.

Stop getting your links from Fixed News and google searches and try reading the constitution. That is... unless you are purposely trying to be ignorant on the subject just to convince yourself that you're right?

Yeah reading simplyg123's posts is getting to be like listening to Palin speak.

    Here you go lil fella..

Article 1 section 3. The United States Constitution.

"The Vice President of the United States shall be President of the Senate, but shall have no vote, unless they be equally divided."

Ok you're now entering homebiz land.

It is now clear that no matter how many times we give you the facts you will just resort to the same old tired tactics of repeating nonsense hoping it will become true.

You haven't made a single solitary case here that hasn't been picked apart with simple facts.

It is also clear that your hatred for this man is so profound that you have begun to deny reason.

I don't know else I can do for you besides feel sorry for you. Good luck bro.

Yeah, right on! In Palin-speak, all that legal stuff, reasonin' and case citin' and stuff over the 34 pages of the judges rulin' is for the birds!

Simply, it seems we're back to an old problem. You refuse to read the very thing you would claim a conspiracy over. Can you not see this makes it ridiculous, on the face of it, to make the claim?

Al Gore invented the internet. Did that make him qualified to be V.P.?

Another important fact about Gore is his past, which the liberal press has preferred not to delve into. His father, Sen. Gore, was a close associate of Armand Hammer, the millionaire communist agent who was the head of Occidental Petroleum. Gore Sr. served as a director of Occidental and provided Hammer with valuable contacts on Capitol Hill. Gore Jr. owns stock in Occidental. The close relationship between the Gore family and a notorious communist agent should be made known to the public.

    No he can't.

    Blind hatred is too powerful.

I'm starting to think he's letting homebiz log into his account to post.

The constitution only limits authority or power on a vote. It doesn't speak of duties. He has no constitutional duties other than whats been mentioned, and those which can also be appointed by the president.

Vice Presidents are usually assigned by the President to chair various commissions. They generally chair the Space Council; other commissions deal with nondiscriminatory practices in government contracts and efforts at deregulating the economy. They usually serve as the White House liaison with the National Governors Association and the U.S. Conference of Mayors. The Vice President participates in cabinet meetings, a custom established by Warren Harding. Since Eisenhower's time, Vice Presidents have presided over cabinet meetings in the absence of the President; Richard Nixon chaired 20 such meetings during Elsenhower's illnesses and trips.

Is Obama's birth certificate on file with the Hawaii Department of Health a hospital-generated birth certificate or a registration of birth that may have been filed subsequent to his birth???

There are no other duties as it applies to the Senate.

AND THE SENATE IS WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT.

If the constitution doesn't speak of it they can't do it. The president cannot just make up some duty that affects the way the Senate does business in ANY WAY. If he could that would quite obviously mean the President has power over the Senate. Which he DOES NOT.

Both the President and Vice President are constitutional officers and are bound by it's laws to the letter.

Geez dude this is basic U.S. gov and history 101 stuff here.

What school did you go to? I want to ensure my daughters don't go there.

EDIT: I can see you edited and added some stuff that has NOTHING to do with Biden being wrong about the Senate.... so... you wanna try to make that point again or... are you changing the subject?

We're talking about the Republican strategy of realizing they're wrong mid-argument then jumping from point to point until no one remembers what we were talking about. :D

Facts? The only thing presented was photos. That doesn't prove squat.

I dont hate Obama, I dont hate anyone, I hate what he stands for. Corruption, Infanticide, socialism, communism, etc..

Point me to it id be glad to read, i just don't know how to find it.

I know that you are the only one claiming Berg has absolutely no chance in hell to be a fact.

Blind Hatred. Obama supports the killing of babies. Not unborn babies, but babies that were actually born, then later thrown on some soiled sheets and murdered, by sucking their brains out, literally. He voted 4 times supporting this despicable act. Obama is the monster here, not me. I do not hate him, but i do hate the fact that he would support such acts.

You call me blind yet you turn your head on this, and his corrupt associations.

Even if it's true I find it much more forgivable if he confused articles of the constitution. I don't expect people to keep the whole constitution in their head. The main point here is that he understands the role of the VP. He explains it as most people would, whether he confuses the article it is described in or not.

Confusing which article of the constitution where the VP's role is defined is a lot different than saying this:

Q:“Brandon Garcia wants to know, “What does the Vice President do?”

A(Palin):"They’re in charge of the U.S. Senate so if they want to they can really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes that will make life better for Brandon and his family and his classroom."

I can forgive somebody for forgetting exactly where something in the constitution is defined(if he was indeed wrong, I remember NPT and Homebiz argued over this), but I wouldn't forgive him if he demonstrated a practical or functional misunderstanding of the role itself.

    Yes.

My question for you. Did you think the federal election commission didn't verify with the Hawaii Dept of Health and that they needed you, simplyg123, and a team of super Google users to figure it out for them?

Look I'm not calling anyone any names because that would be a personal attack and against the rules.

All I'm saying is that this link proves that someone in this thread is a moron who wears tin foil hats.... That's all I'm saying.

To my understanding we were talking about VP duties, I dont know who limited the discussion to the senate, but it certainly wasnt me. The president can assign duties to the VP, just as i have posted below.

Considering Biden was a former law student i would hold him to a bit higher standard, but for the most part i agree.

She admits not knowing the roles of a VP, I dont think she really gave it much thought.

As we see, the VP has only a couple constitutional duties. And whatever the president appoints. I'm sure she knew he succeeds the president, everyone knows that, she just didn't know of any established duties, and why not? Because there aren't any established duties.
